Nvidia's New RTX 5880 Ada Workstation Graphics Card Exposed: Tailored for the Chinese Market

The RTX 5880 Ada is a workstation graphics card based on NVIDIA Ada architecture. The Ada architecture is the new generation GPU architecture of Nvidia, characterized by advanced modular design, higher parallelism, and better suitability for high-performance computing and deep learning applications. The exposure of RTX 5880 Ada marks Nvidia's continued expansion of its market share in China, expected to be exclusively supplied in China and possibly a streamlined version of RTX 6000 Ada to meet relevant policies.

According to reports, the RTX 5880 Ada graphics card will be equipped with 6144 CUDA cores, with a base frequency of 1.4 GHz and an acceleration frequency of 1.8 GHz. It will be equipped with 16 GB GDDR6X memory and an equivalent data rate of 16.2 Gbps. The power consumption of this graphics card is expected to be 300W, requiring an external power supply of 6 pins and 8 pins.

Nvidia has launched the RTX Ada series of professional graphics cards, including RTX 6000 Ada, RTX 5000 Ada, RTX 4500 Ada, RTX 4000 Ada, and RTX 4000 Ada SFF.

In terms of parameters, the RTX 6000 Ada has 18176 CUDA core and 48GB graphics memory, the RTX 5000 Ada has 12800 CUDA core and 32GB graphics memory, the RTX 4500 Ada has 7680 CUDA core and 24GB graphics memory, and the RTX 4000 Ada/SFF has 6144 CUDA core and 20GB graphics memory.
