Intel Arrow Lake and Lunar Lake processors equipped with 8 Xe cores appear in the SiSoftware database

Intel just announced at the CES 2024 press conference that the Arrow Lake and Lunar Lake processors will be launched in 2024.

According to SiSoftware Sandra data, both Arrow Lake processor and Lunar Lake processor iGPU have 64 cores, which means it will have 64 execution units, or 8 Xe cores.

This Arrow Lake processor has an iGPU frequency range of 1.7~2.0 GHz and a maximum computing power of 1075.69 Mpix/s, slightly stronger than the Intel Meteor Lake (same as 64EU) that appeared here last year.

To the best of our knowledge, Intel Arrow Lake will be applied to both desktop (Arrow Lake-S/LGA 1851) and mobile (Arrow Lake-H/HX/U) products, aiming to replace the existing 13th and 14th generation Raptor Lake CPUs.

Arrow Lake will adopt a hybrid architecture of Lion Cove (P-core) and Skymont/Crestmont (E-core), while the GPU will be equipped with a slightly adjusted Alchemist+"Xe LPG+" graphics architecture.

Relatively speaking, Intel Lunar Lake has improved even more by adopting a new core architecture, including Skymont (E-core) architecture, faster NPU, and a new core display based on Battlemage "Xe2 LPG" architecture. According to existing intelligence, the Lunar Lake CPU has a better energy consumption ratio, mainly targeting the lightweight laptop market. Terminal products equipped with this series of processors are expected to be launched in 2025.

The benchmark test results of Lunar Lake show that it also has 8 Xe cores, with frequencies ranging from 1.75 to 1.85 GHz, and a computing power of 1927.62 Mpix/s, which is 80% higher than Alchemist+iGPU. In addition, another Lunar Lake leak information on SiSoftware Sandra shows that this chip has 8 CPU cores, lower than the 10 of the Meteor Lake-U.

We cannot find much information from these SiSoftware Sandra results at the moment, but it may not be long before we see some more useful and specific data.
