Inspur Information and Intel jointly release the world's first fully liquid cooled plate server reference design

Based on this reference design, Inspur Information has launched a fully liquid cooled plate server, claiming to achieve nearly 100% liquid cooled heat dissipation of server components and a PUE value close to 1.

PUE is the abbreviation for Power Usage Efficiency, calculated as "total energy consumption of data center/IT equipment energy consumption". The total energy consumption of data center includes IT equipment energy consumption and energy consumption of cooling, distribution and other systems. The closer PUE is to 1, the less energy consumption non IT equipment consumes, that is, the higher the energy efficiency level.

The fully liquid cooled server launched by Inspur Information has achieved full liquid cooling coverage for the main heating components of servers such as CPU, high-power memory, NVMe hard disk, OCP network card, power supply, PCIe adapter card, and optical module. The PUE has been reduced to below 1.05, and more than 30% of data center space has been saved through "de air conditioning".

At the same time, the product has designed many system component level liquid cooling solutions for different structural, material, and operating temperature requirements of different components, including PSU, memory, hard disk, expansion module, etc. Users can choose according to their needs.

Inspur Information stated that the innovative memory sleeper heat sink liquid cooling solution combines the advantages of traditional air cooling and cold plate cooling, making it easier to assemble and maintain than existing piping memory liquid cooling solutions, and more versatile.
