On December 21st, reliable whistleblower "momomo_us" revealed today that AMD is about to release a desktop processor model.
The R7 8700G and R5 8600G are expected to be desktop versions of the R7 8845HS and R5 8645HS, with Zen4 architecture 8-core and 6-core specifications, and 12CU and 8CU graphics respectively. R5 8500G is expected to be the desktop version of R5 8540U, with a 2-core Zen4+4-core Zen4C hybrid architecture and a 4CU display.
The R7 5700X3D large cache processor is expected to be the low-frequency version of R7 5800X3D, with 8 cores and 16 threads, and 96MB of three-level cache.
The parameters of R7 5700 have been announced on AMD's official website, with 8 cores and 16 threads, an acceleration frequency of 4.6GHz, and 16MB of three-level cache. It can be regarded as the hardcore display version of R7 5700G.
The specific parameters of the two entry-level models, R5 5600GT and R5 5500GT, are not available.
AMD is expected to release this series of desktop processors at CES 2024 early next month.
