News reports that Nvidia will discontinue production of RTX 4080 and 4070Ti graphics cards to make way for SUPER's new products

On January 9th, Nvidia officially released the RTX 40 SUPER series graphics card early this morning, with three options available: RTX 4080 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and RTX 4070 SUPER.

According to Andreas Schilling, media editor at HardareLuxx, Nvidia has confirmed the discontinuation of RTX 4080 and 4070 Ti graphics cards. Meanwhile, the RTX 4070 graphics card has been lowered from $599 to $549.

The latest RTX 40 series graphics card introduction image listed in Nvidia's official press release no longer includes the RTX 4080 and 4070 Ti. That is to say, these two graphics cards have been replaced by the RTX 4080 SUPER and 4070 Ti SUPER, respectively. The RTX 4070 is a self lowering and secure model, and its original position has been replaced by the RTX 4070 SUPER.

Nvidia RTX 40 SUPER series graphics cards will be launched in late January, and major graphics card brands have also announced non-public design products:

• RTX 4070 SUPER: 4899 yuan, 100 yuan more expensive than RTX 4070, launched on January 17th
• RTX 4070 Ti SUPER: 6499 yuan, the same price as RTX 4070 Ti, launched on January 24th
• RTX 4080 SUPER: 8099 yuan, 1400 yuan cheaper than the first release of RTX 4080, launched on January 31st
