Site 1: In San Jose, California, it is the company's first factory and current research and development base.

Site 3: Cypress Semiconductor Philippines Inc. (CSPI) is an assembly and testing factory established by the company in the Philippines. It was put into production in 1996 and has a similar factory in Indonesia.

In 1987, the 0.8 micron CMOS process technology was adopted, and in 1992, it was transferred to 0.65 micrometers.
