Kim Ki Tae, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, stated that as a leader in the HBM industry, SK Hynix foresaw the high demand for HBM memory in advance and prepared to increase production capacity in advance.

The company has established a dedicated department responsible for promoting the research and development, release, and sales of HBM memory. He said that in addition to HBM3E, DDR5 and LPDDR5T memory will also be highly sought after this year.

SK Hynix's HBM memory production quota has been fully sold out by the end of this year, and it is currently preparing orders for 2025 and is expected to maintain its market leading position next year. According to analyst forecasts, SK Hynix's operating profit is expected to reach $7.5 billion this year.
