At this summit, Su Zifeng revealed that AMD will launch the next-generation Ryzen processor code-named "Strix Point" within this year, which will be equipped with new RDNA3+ and XDNA2 technologies.

Although the specific name of the next-generation Ryzen processor has not yet been determined, it is likely to be the 9000 series. Among them, "Strix Point" may belong to the Ryzen 9050 series and is expected to be one of the first products to adopt the Zen5 microarchitecture.Su Zifeng also emphasized the importance of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning acceleration, pointing out that XDNA in the Hawk Point series has already achieved this. The upcoming XDNA2 is expected to provide stronger performance in this regard. In his speech, Wang Qishang, senior vice president of AMD GPU Technology and Engineering R&D, also mentioned the RDNA3+ and XDNA2 architectures, and reiterated that XDNA2 will provide three times the existing AI performance. Although Wang Qishang did not introduce RDNA3+ in detail, Su Zifeng mentioned: RDNA3+ is an improved version of the RDNA3 architecture and is designed to complement the upcoming RDNA4 architecture rather than replace it.In addition to AMD's Strix Point processors, Intel's Arrow Lake and Lunar Lake will also be released in the second half of this year. The latter will have three times the GPU and AI acceleration performance of Meteor Lake.
